The IGISc houses several printers for production and map output. Available are a HP 5M laser black and white printer, HP 2500 CM Business Inkjet medium-format color printer, and a HP 1055 CM large-format color plotter. The printers in the IGIsc are intended to serve the individual-copy printing needs of staff and designated contracts/grants, not for general printing.

The IGISc does offer general large-format printing access for a fee, however individuals wanting to print such documents MUST coordinate with facility personnel before attempting to print. For those with proper permission to print in the facility please review the schedule of fees below:

General printing for students in the IGISc is available through the Pharos Uniprint system. If printing from the IGISc (HSS 272) your document will be sent to a centralized print queue. You can then go to the Geographic Analysis Teaching Lab (HSS 290) and swipe your SFSUCard at the Pharos Print station. At that time you will see only your own print queue. Click on the document you wish to print. General printing access is also available to students in the BSS All-University lab (HSS 383).
