  Regional Groups  
 

San Francisco Bay Area ArcGIS Users Group - designed to provide a forum for users of ArcGIS and ArcView geographic information system (GIS) software in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Sacramento ArcGIS Users Group - designed to provide a forum for users of ArcGIS and ArcView geographic information system (GIS) software in the Sacramento area to: learn the capabilities of ArcGIS and ArcView; demonstrate user applications of GIS, get answers to technical problems, review new software modules, share ideas with other users.

Santa Rosa ArcGIS Users Group - is a diverse group of GIS professionals in the North Bay region who use ESRI's ArcGIS® software and share ideas, methodology, and latest projects. The meetings are sponsored by ESRI and run by local user group members.

Napa County GIS Users Group - GIS User Group that promotes the use of GIS in Napa County. As part of this effort, the GIS User Group serves as a focal point for coordinating GIS activities such as data collection and analysis.

CA/HI/NV/GUAM ESRI Regional Users Group - the Regional Group serves as an informal umbrella for all the local user groups and Special Interest Groupss. It also hosts an annual Regional 3-day users'conference in the Winter as well as the Regional Group meeting held every year at ESRI's annual conference.

City and County of San Francisco GIS - San Francisco's Enterprise Geographic Information Systems (GIS) program provides world-class mapping expertise, data, and applications for the City and County of San Francisco. They also manage the City GIS Users Group which holds meeitings the third Wednesday of each month.

Bay Area Automated Mapping Association (BAAMA) - nonprofit, professional organization dedicated to promoting automated-mapping, geographic information systems, and related technology in the San Francisco bay Area.

Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) - is one of more than 560 regional planning agencies across the nation working to help solve problems in areas such as land use, housing, environmental quality, and economic development

Bay Area HAZUS Users Group - is a public-private partnership involving over a 100 organizations and corporations. The BAHUG is the national model for FEMA's continuing efforts to expand the use of HAZUS and and the rapidly expanding network of HAZUS User Groups across the country.
